We leave the house at 3:00 am on the dot and head out for our first planned destination, Mobile, Alabama. But of course after almost 20 years of being married to me Les is well aware that I will change that mid-stream. So we headed to Hammond, Louisiana a mere 650 miles. Since we have already traveled the Florida panhandle and lower Alabama and Mississippi this part of our journey is merely a way for us to reach our first real relaxing destination, Phoenix Arizona. No sightseeing here. Gas prices today were $2.75/gallon. Stayed at Good Sam Park. Calloway RV Park in Hammond, LA. So far so good.

ReplyDeleteFred and the boys are at a tractor pull today! Then, Fred and I head to Maine in the morning for his vacation week. The weather is predicted to be cloudy with a chance of showers almost every day, but that won't keep us from having fun. It will be nice to be together - just the two of us. I won't have computer access there, so have a great week! Patrick will be around after work, tending to the cat and the chickens, so I'll have him check the website.
